Dang! Beat me too it! Talladega 500 this weekend in Alabama. I wonder if Ricky Bobby and family will be there trying to get kicked out of an Applebees for fun?

I drove by on I-20 heading towards Georgia earlier. I was expecting the normal empty flagpoles, so was happy to see some of the flags up ahead of time. The flags are huge: 20' X 60' and larger! Now on this upcoming Thursday, all of the flags and banners will be flying, and mostly visible from the Interstate.

Interstate:

Commercial trade, business, movement of goods or money, or transportation from one state to another, regulated by the Federal Department Of Transportation (DOT).

Cool! I just drove by there last week. Near Clinton Falls, MN and remembered it from seeing the photo here. Gave me a cheap thrill to help with the boredom.

There’s a Cabellas store not far from that airport. I like to stop in there from time to time to pick up things.
