There is heavy construction going on, especially on the south side,I5 you will be riding the right shoulder going down the pass as both lanes are blocked off for a paving/expansion project.

The 'night person' I am, due to my driver dude's schedule; I miss A LOT of this,, but for scanning in sleep mode, haha! I sure wish I were in those mountains; construction or not...LoL!

I looked this up, and wow!!!! Medford, OR mountains & roads

It's only yellow/orange now, but .. sheesh! Won't be in a few hours, eh?

The Medford side of I5 is a mess of construction and expansion projects, they have narrowed it down to one tiny sliver of a lane, save for an expansion. (Temproary) for oversize vehicles. Treacherous for sure.

Lol, almost had a load going north through there. But, they took off of me. If you’re continuing South on the I-5, some of the rest areas are closed.
