I've been out of driving for two years. Going to start an accelerated training program on the 23th. What's new in the last two years?

About the only thing I can think of that is new would be the new HOS rules. There are some changes to the split sleeper rule, and the 30 minute break rule, but you still have the 11 hour and 14 hour driving limit. I could go into great detail if you are really interested, but I am pretty certain you will be going over some of that with orientation and training.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

It will get harder to find a manual shift truck. All the Bigs are switching to auto shift. You might not have a clutch pedal.

The mods are spot on.. I'm just dropping in to wish you KUDOS and CONGRATS!

I've been less than 'popular' on here (though I don't recall my misspeak) so ... I'll follow from the grandstand!

Best to YOU, Bruce K. . . . SO glad you are back..'in the saddle again!' Great 1941 classic, w/ Gene Aubrey, and then again,

Back ~ !!!!<< Great song, man!

Thanks, girl.

I dunno. I try. Sometimes I stick (stuck) up for the underdog...and it bit me..(behooves me!)

Thanks again; I just do as I can...and as I see fit and comfy with saying/doing!

ps: BRUCE K. IS GONNA BE A TOUGH ACT TO FOLLOW; AND I SHOUT HIM OUT & ON!! Indeed, good sir!
