If I was involved, I would post the request on UShip.

This site is mainly here to help new drivers and those that are considering the trucking industry as a profession.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

^^^^^^ what he said. Although I’m betting it’s posted here because they don’t want to pay and thought someone might pick it up for cheap.

Talked with my brother that hauls Kubota tractors, big lawnmowers, etc....you really need a drop deck semi to haul it. It's 17,500 pounds, 10+ ft tall and 20 ft long. Too many low overpasses plus you would need a 2t pickup with a trailer that is rated for that weight and a driver with a class A CDL. He said you are trying to do it cheaply and that will end up costing you in the long run.

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
