Here’s an honest question. Does anybody here personally know somebody that has died from covid? Not a friends friends friends coworker? I know zero. I have had family members pass since the start of covid and it wasn’t anything related to covid. Even though covid is supposed to be the deadliest thing we’ve ever encountered globally. I know maybe three people who have gotten it and it was a fever and a runny nose at worse. If the death rate was really as bad as they said it was. Either you would of been dead or would of known ten people who died from it.

I have an uncle that passed from covid. Fully vaccinated, it didn't matter. But I also know someone Completely ruined from getting her vaccine. Neurological issues and all kinds of trash developed after the first shot for her

And, Pfizer was rushing out of the gate to have their booster shots approved like fast by FDA, they were told NO at that time....

Like late last year, or early this year, I heard on the radio, I forget the town/state but not the point, it was funny

Said this town has a population of 30,000? Yet 50,000 of that town got covid HAHAHA ........Yeah okkkkk. 6 people died of it, 1 was SHOT 6 TIMES, but...............He died of Covid !!......Think he died of lead poisoning my self.... That's about as ridicules as this whole things been.....The DJ's were even LTAO

16 million die of heart disease a year....1.7 million die of Pnuemonia each year.....1.5 mil die of the Flu etc etc yet, not a SINGLE 1 is or ever be a "Pandemic" hmmm go figure AIDS/HIV kills just under 1 million a year, don't even make it to the top 10 list

I actually though I was being polite NOT responding to your sexual comment regarding six out. Unless your meaning is different than what I know it to mean. Look up six out in the urban dictionary and see if thats what you meant.

OMG!!!! MEA CULPA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never KNEW that, and sure won't use THAT phrase, again!!! I'm APPALLED... AND APOLOGIZE. SHEESH. I'm 50, not 20 LoL!

TO ME, it's in reference to a very WISE driver ... that ... when he's 'done' with a subject, he ends his saying(s) with 'Six, Quiet' (like on a CB) ... or 'Six, Out' (like over & out.)

His full handle is "Treble Six" but I don't like that "association."

Well, dang.

Peace~!! sorry.gif

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager

The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

double-quotes-end.png

Unfortunately, yes.

My dad passed away in September after battling Covid for nearly two weeks. The cause of death will go down as Covid. But my family and I know the truth. Several things contributed to his death.

-He was 76

-He had severe COPD from a lifetime of smoking, and a career as a welder.

-He had been weakened over the years almost to the point of immobility.

-He was just tired. Many years of struggling with his health left him unable and unwilling to fight any longer. He was ready.

-He was denied visitors to his hospital room, with no family to watch over him, encourage him, or advocate on his behalf. He spent his last 2 weeks on this Earth alone in that room. You can't tell me that is healthy for anyone.

But they say he died of Covid.

I'm so sorry. SSSSOOOOOOO sorrry.

Condolences, Turtle.

Yeah sameTurtle. Even more sorry to hear no one could be with him for those weeks. The level of frustration had to be through the roof. I can’t even imagine.

Sorry for your loss as well Canaan.

Lots of autoimmune issues. Just look at our military...high rates of MS, fibromyalgia, lupus, etc. What's one common denominator between all branches? Mandatory shots of all kinds and yearly flu shots also. Will the powers that be admit to the military veterans getting these autoimmune issues from all the shots we got? Not on your life, but what else could it be?

Interesting development today. ATA CEO Chris Spears is saying that all SOLO truck drivers are exempt. He is basing this on the fact we work remotely and are only indoors short amounts of time. He specifically stated solo drivers. We’ll see where that leads us!!

CDL Life

Apparently, Labor Secretary Marty Walsh is also on record as saying so:

Truck News

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
