I too, wonder why someone would do a self-test for drugs before applying to another company, unless they had used a prohibited drug and were pre-screening themselves before applying elsewhere. Most people who do so are wanting to screen themselves to ensure they are clean before taking a company test, no matter the industry. Unfortunately, your self-tests were inaccurate, and you thought you were clean. It bit you in the butt hard, and you really screwed the pooch with your driving career.
