It was indeed Roehl. There was 2 prior incidents one involving bumper damage on another driver's truck in a truck stop. The other was rim damage to my trailer from a cement post on a light poll I didn't see in time.
Quite a savvy group, we are! LoL. Anyway; work out a payment plan (no way around it,) or suck it up, go back, and ask to be retrained.
Other than that (be glad it's not 'bound' like CRST, even IF the law has been lifted since '06) look into a few other companies, that will take you on, as a trained individual. Just, don't go lease.

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
