Another driver told me he went by this crash which also involved 2 secondary car crashes. He thought it was a truck from the company I work for but it was hard to tell because the tractor and trailer were so badly damaged. (The load was chocolate covered raisins and peanuts. At least the emergency responders had something to snack on during the 8 hours it took to clean up the mess)

Luckily this happened on east side of Indy, I take 465 on the west side every day. It was still backed up when I went by at noonish.
I missed that the other morning by 10 minutes! I was just past it when it happened, and heard about it on the CB.

Sort of related, sort of not… I once read that many years ago a train derailed somewhere in Montana, spilling car loads of corn or some other feed grain. Bears were subsequently getting hit by trains for several years in that area, as they were coming onto the tracks helping clean up the spillage.
