Real shortage or artificial shortage? I’m always skeptical of shortages because they can be caused by powerful corporations and people purposely keeping products off the market in order to drive up the price. Then the products are dumped on the market at the higher price. Common scheme done repeatedly by many entities over a long period of time involving many different commodities. Illegal? Maybe, maybe not. Unethical or savvy business?
Shortages over the past couple years:
Toilet paper
Vaccines
Masks
Coins
Gasoline
Computer chips
Meat
Baby formula
Tampons
Diesel fuel
All these were government related and/or have been false.

Agreed. We are living through an engineered destruction of our society that started decades ago.
Other shortages:
Patriots
Skilled workers
Governmental integrity
Critical thinkers
Etc
Right on Turtle. I agree 100%.
One thing there are no shortages in are lawyers looking for the easy buck.
Look on the bright side there is no shortage of whiny millennial hipsters!
I read on this happening a couple of months before. If I recall, it's not that there's a shortage, the article said something about when the booking is made with how long it takes to get the load shipped, the price is going up so quickly that the shipper is not wanting to sell the product there, in other words, they are making more profit by selling over seas.
The customer who is shipping the freight. This is where the driver will pick up a load and then deliver it to the receiver or consignee.
Sorry to double post, I had it wrong. The spot price of fuel is higher than the futures price is what it was saying.

Wolf administration says Pa. is having ‘rolling outages’ of diesel fuel, makes move to allow sales of out-of-state fuel
Fuel up before you get there.
Dm:
Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
