Congratulations you beat me by a few day’s haha I got my license 13/07/21 signed my contract the next day then was driving the day after that lol so I guess Friday will be a year of being paid to drive lol. I did find $10 while training so technically that was the first money I got from trucking 😂

Congrats BK. How are you enjoying trucking overall?

I really do enjoy the work. There are always problems to deal with, but almost every occupation in life has those. I enjoy the scenery, the sense of adventure, the satisfaction of being early for assignments. I love it when I have full fuel tanks, a loaded trailer and 1600 miles ahead of me. Too many things I like about it to mention.

HOS:

Hours Of Service

HOS refers to the logbook hours of service regulations.

Well, congrats to you as well, good sir! dancing-dog.gif dancing-dog.gif

You & BK should meet at the border, & celebrate!! Which side depends on who has their TWIC , I guess...LoL!

~ Anne ~

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
