Congratulations to you!
The CFI recruiter will probably swoop in shortly with his usual pitch.
That is in regards to the cfi recruiter statement..
Congrats on getting your permit
I fortunately passed the general knowledge, airbrakes, and combined vehicle test. So got my CLP and re-apply for Schneider also applied for CFI after reading up on them. So question is which is better schneider or CFI?
New on this forum, but not real new to trucking. I don't know that one is better than the other. It really depends on what you are wanting to do. I won't say that you can't go wrong with either choice because individual circumstances and such determine where the best fit is. I will say that finding either to be a good fit sets you up to have a good career as a driver.

Before getting their CDL, commercial drivers will receive their commercial learner's permit (CLP) upon passing the written portion of the CDL exam. They will not have to retake the written exam to get their CDL.

This comment, above, is vintage PackRat and the main reason I watch this channel, lol.
I’m not Big Scott, but I would try CFI. I drove for SNI and I would retire before I would go back.
