This thread has been AWFUL quiet.

BK, are you okay ?!?!?! Did the grandson drag you into the wiles of an 18 y/o; or did he bring his gaming console?

That could do it~ or Kearsey's dungeon ?!?

Anyone with contact or sighting, PLEASE REPORT to the REST of the wtf-2.gif TT community;

Thanks!

I am just now getting ready to leave Commerce City. I must have eaten something yesterday that made me really sick last night and am just now beginning to feel better.

I looked a while ago and Bruce was still showing to be at King Soopers and Big Scott is not far from me either. Neither must want to meet up.

I'm going to get my lunch to go in a few and head down to Guymon OK. Hopefully my load will be ready tonight. But I was told not to expect it until tomorrow morning.

Awh, m'lady . . . sure hope you feel better, soon! Dang. Maybe you SHOULD hang for a day.

Wonder if BK's kid has him hostage?!?! Just kidding! Finishing yard work/fixing equip w/Tom b4 storms; keep me in the loop!

That dang GPS on here hates me; people are always in the water, on a mountain, or in a cemetery... as you KNOW!

Almost in "All thee above" Annie lol Mountain jungle, had a helluva storm yesterday!! Thunder is LOUD, and sounds like it rolls all the way across the night sky lol

Just got done rebuilding my little bamboo cross bridge from 1 house to other, right in drainage rut lol. Cut em in half 1st time, was ok til my 240 pound ass crossed n cracked a few....Cut new pieces left em whole, knock out the dividers inside so water flows THRU, not over, and backed up.

Rest time, cool off , overcast but humidity is about 93% @ 8:45 am, Sunday......That's what retirements all about , my lil hunny is harvesting some of her flowers, to get to market/sold hahaha Yellow, think daffodils? and babies breath told her we need grow some tomatoes, and watermelons in the empty spot

My co- pilot Devin and I had a big delay getting done at King Stoopers. We didn’t get out of there until 0730 today. Picked up a new load in Fiona, TX and got to within 154 miles of Oklahoma City for the night. Things are going very well. I’m sorry we weren’t able to meet up with anyone in Denver, but King Stoopers is to blame. 470 mile deadhead from Denver.

The highlight of the day today was the beautiful drive south from Denver, through Colorado Springs and into New Mexico. Texas is not so great, and bored my passenger. So far Devin has, for the first time, been in Iowa, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma. 1691 miles together and I have cherished every mile and every minute with Devin. By far the most precious cargo I will ever carry. Tomorrow I take him to the airport in OKC for his flight back to Madison, WI. Then I’m on to Philadelphia with my current load. The long and lonely road.

Deadhead:

To drive with an empty trailer. After delivering your load you will deadhead to a shipper to pick up your next load.

Well, BK you gave the kid a memory that will last his lifetime, for sure......Who knows, maybe gave him the bug to maybe follow in your footsteps, and also become a driver !!

Glad you both had a great binding week together on the road.

I 'SECOND' this post! BK, you should post some photos here, to share the joy! Thanks for sharing, man. Wish Devin a safe flight from usn's.

StevoReno, you should post some photos, too! The stuff on Facebook is AWESOME. Gorgeous place to retire. I still wonder if you'll ever get the itch, and come back stateside, and.....drive again.

Stay safe & well, guys!

I’m now experiencing the downside of the ride-a-long. The trip together was so enjoyable for me that going back to being alone is really sad. I miss Devin, but he has his own life. College starts in about two weeks.

Devin turned out to be a really good navigator. It was cool to be able to ask him questions about locations and points of interest and he would get on his phone and have all the info in short order. He showed me some IT tricks, but our time together was too short to cover everything I wanted to know.

Still working on posting some photos. Anne, don’t give up on me! Lol

I'll never give up on you, BK~! Seriously, glad y'all have fun. I know, it's hard to let a kiddo go....my youngest is his age. Look at the bright side; Xmas break will be here before you know it, and you can do this all OVER again!

Any new iT tricks are a great thing, anytime . . . share some intel, LoL!

Be safe, good sir. Glad you enjoyed it, you deserved that.
