There’s definitely no shortage or anything like that, it’s just part of the game.

Thanks, Dave. I appreciate the reply. I was trying to gauge if we're heading toward a shortage of some sort. You can't let your guard down for a moment these days with anything.

Always busy but then again, I haul the stuff that feeds your family so it never slows down. Although, many ranches and dairies are stockpiling fed and ingredients more than normal because this years crop yields are coming in very low. I’ll keep running until they tell me not to, then I’ll enjoy some time off.

I think it depends in the freight. One of our big customers had a fire at their plant. Nothing going in or out of their right now. So I think that's affecting us a bit.

Starting last Friday, I have waited an average if 3 - 5 hours per day for the next load assignment. Prior to this, I have never waited for a load assignment. Not once.

But I've heard freight is slowing all around.

Sure this is one of the Leftist goals, Brett: Create high enough fuel costs, constantly bombard the populace with the false narrative that if we all had electric vehicles everyone is happy and we saved the planet together! The left has done this for decades. Say the same thing repeatedly and it magically becomes the truth. "Just take our word for it because we know better than you stupid little people."

Am I the only one that's noticed this for the past two years? Mysterious fires, livestock deaths, planes crashing into DCs, company sabotage, factories shut down for months by the government for a two hour fix? This shyte is not random IMHO.

Nope. It's been duly noted by OUR homestead, in many ways. Factories shutting down, companies selling out after 40 years in the family, 300 power unit business (aka: FAB,) and internet providers selling after decades with no notice, too! CenturyLink 'changed' to BrightSpeed two weeks ago, and I've had nothing but headaches.

Not as bad as fires, crashes, and deaths, but . . . we've had a few more than normal private planes falling out of the sky here in Ohio, than normal...too.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

I agree completely. We're living through a deliberate destruction of the world's economy so central bankers can install digital currencies. Once they remove cash from society, they have complete surveillance and control over the population. They can dictate every move we make, and eliminate us from society altogether at their whim. China already has this. It's called a "Social Credit Score." If the government approves of your way of living, they'll allow you access to society. If not, you're excluded.

This is a common topic in the channels I follow. It's part of the same agenda - to cripple the world's economy and send the world into complete chaos so "the elites" can "rebuild" our society in a way that financially and socially enslaves the entire world.

Seriously, if everyone on Earth read the book "1984" the world would erupt in revolution immediately, and this evil plan would end. There are still way too many people who have no idea what's really happening because they continue to believe the mainstream media narrative.

I just realized the other day that our entertainment fleet came off the road last week. So that's 30 more drivers back on the road needing loads. I think that's why load slowed down for us a little bit. I would expect that to pick up again!
