good-luck-2.gif I am so excited. I go to Coweta either monday or tuesday and find out what I have to do to get on with Schneider National. Over the phone, the recruiter said all i have to have is common sense about driving in general and go through a Schneider sponsored school and i got it.

Hey Billy.....have you looked into any other companies or do you have your heart set on Schneider already? Also, I'm assuming Coweta is a truck driving school? I'm not sure what that is.

The only reason I ask about other companies is because you don't want to put all your eggs in one basket necessarily. Schneider is an excellent company....no problem there. But if you choose a school solely based on getting into Schneider and that falls through somehow you have to make sure that other major companies will hire from that school. I'm guessing if Schneider works with them, other companies will too. But I just wanted to make sure you've got your bases covered.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Congratulations Billy! I agree with Brett's advice, I had some unexpected setbacks when I made the career switch into trucking - it's best to kind of have a small back up plan that you can go to if something goes crazy.

You can't make an educated decision, unless you get input from more than one source......
