Two things I've changed this year. I wear single use disposable contact lenses during thr day, I used to drive with then at night too. I had to get new glasses and got to talking with the person at the glasses shop. I explained the difficulties I have with glare from LED lights and high beams, especially in my mirrors.

I selected a set of Oakley frames and lenses, they have a clear anti glare component to the lenses. I took out my contacts at dusk and drove with the glasses. Absolutely amazing, while the lights are still bright, the glare is reduced significantly and vision is drastically improved. So my new program on optics is to use the contacts during daylight and glasses after dark. I do have a set of prescription Oakley sunglasses as well, but I find the tint to be too dark when using my convex mirrors. Same problem with my Ray Bans. I use a very light tint sunglasses.

The other change is that I've started buying bagged salads and enjoying nice Cobb salads with organic turkey and cheese. 1 bag lasts me a week or so.

Great balanced and CLEAN meals! I am still about 7 weeks from applying at Roehl, but plan to pack 100% homemade natural/organic meals which should be no problem with a regional route after CDL training this spring.

Glad to see more and more folks eating cleaner in the industry on this forum and on YouTube.

Good choice of optics. I've had all the bells and whistles on my last two prescriptions. While expensive, I think it does make a difference.

Turkey and salads? I'm sticking with my modified carnivore diet.

I’m a big Oakley fan. That’s all I wear anymore outside of a rare day I might wear my costas. They have saved my eyes on several occasions on the job and the lens clarity is awesome too. My eyes have gotten so sensitive over the years that I can’t stand to be outside when the sun is up without them. Even when the weather is bad or slightly before dawn or at dusk, I have to have them on. A fella once asked me early one morning if I was wearing them because of a bad night and I said nope, when you’re this cool the sun always shines! Anyway, have you tried the transition lenses? I think Oakley makes them or atleast they used to. They don’t get nearly as dark as a regular pair of sun glasses. The polarization on them makes a big difference too. I have a few pair of flak jackets with one being about 15 years old that are still holding up nicely. There’s a company called revent optics that make decent replacement lenses for a fraction of the cost. As for the salad, I need to eat more of those. I’ve lost close to 50 pounds in the last year but I’ve got a long way to go.

Davy, where are you buying the bagged salads? I get the individual salads from Walmart, but they are just big enough for one meal.

I’d like to know where you are getting the bagged salads and how big are they?

I get them from wally world or various supermarkets. I buy a couple bottles of salad dressing (ranch). They can be kept at room temperature til I use them. I keep my opened bottle in the fridge
