I was able to do everything using my Verizon hotspot, including online gaming on my PC and consoles and streaming to my smart TV. It was very rare that I found myself parked in an area that I was unable to do whatever I wanted running the eastern 37.
I have T-Mobile home internet gateway on the truck. For a while, I couldn't sleep without background noise, so there were like two months where I topped 240GBs with no slowdown. It seems to be the go to for a whole lot of us at Prime, especially with the downtime in reefer.
What she said the tmobile home internet gateway is by far the best solution I have used, it works off of cell towers so if you stop in the middle of nowhere you may not experience the best connection, also for whatever reason California south of Barstow is spotty. But on average I get 150-250 MBPS in the northeast I regularly get over 500 MBPS. Hotspots will not support more then casual usage. I tried hotspots from verizon, at&t, tmobile, quest, ladybug. None of them even touch the Home internet gateway from tmobile, unlimited 5g internet for $60 a month

I had to physically go into a TMobile, the sales girl used a fake physical address, my real mailing address, and I went in to change it after the first bill (digital, no mailing) generated.
The phone based customer service when I was trying all said it's impossible, it's geolocked. But it has been marketed for the RV crowd.
Yes, slightly shady, but one of the issues with "nomadic living."
