She's okay. Her new internet provider has spotty coverage, bandwidth, and reliability issues.

She's fine, just aggravated with her internet provider. She is getting HughesNet (satellite provider) on Saturday, so is hoping to be able to get on TT soon.

If you have her number, she can get text messages pretty much without a problem.

Ok, we have made the update! You're now looking at the new design for our forum.

A couple of things.

First, looking at the main website menu near the bottom, you'll see a new item that says "Switch Light/Dark Mode." That will take you to a page that allows you to switch between modes and see what they look like. The mode you choose will apply across the entire website. We'll remember your preferences even after logging out.

You must be logged in to switch between modes. If you're not logged in, you won't see that option.

If you're using light mode, especially on a phone, you will hardly notice any difference with this new design. On a laptop or desktop, the changes are more noticeable. If you switch to dark mode, you'll see it's radically different.

All of this is new, so some tweaking will be necessary to get things polished up. So please let me know about anything you see that's a problem, or give us any suggestions you may have for improvements.

Yeah so do I. I think it looks awesome.

I use dark mode on my phone all the time, so I will start using that here.

Brett, you killed it on this one. It looks fantastic with the decorative photos you have on the site. Great job.

I'm a fan of the dark mode, not just for the aesthetic value, but also because it's easier for my aging eyes to read. Something about the contrast just makes the print stick out for me.

Now I'm trying to decide whether to put dark mode by default across the entire website. Tough call. My girl and I think it looks great, but I'm not sure if most people will prefer it or not.

I've also simplified the main website menu. It's much easier to see what we have now.

Oh, yeah!!! Dark mode and new font (at least I think it looks different) are really making the text pop!

I'm not sure if it was addressed before but, is it possible to add a tag feature? Something where if you log in you will be notified that you were tagged in a post or comment.

Even though you asked for suggestions, Brett, I feel a little bad about throwing one out here. I have no idea how much work is involved in making changes to the site. It is appreciated though.
