Based on the condition of the 5th wheel, and the truck number missing from the upper back of the sleeper, I'm guessing that the trucks these are on, are being processed out to be sold by Pedigree, which would support the trickle charge theory. Someone on that post said they were only on the Internationals, not the Freightliners, which if I recall, the FL have the master kill switch, and the internationals don't. That would lead me to believe battery preservation is the sole purpose for longer term storage. But let's be honest, a jump from the shop truck on the yard would be way less expensive than multiple trickle chargers.
