I have a 2020 Freightliner Cascadia, I'm having an issue with the power connector from the truck. The connection looks like a female T-Type plug instead of the normal 3-pin connection to the back of the CB. Does anyone know of any options, like adapters or anything that I can use without having to cut wires.

Check out the hardware selection amongst the CB antennas, coaxial, etc. at the truck stop. There may be some type of adapter there as I have bought these after running into problems myself.

What brand is your CB?

Cobra 29 LTD, I've checked everywhere. Almost seems unheard of. I know there has to be a solution, because its already stock wired with the T- Type

Same radio I have and I've used it in more than a few FL.

No adapter exists because the cheapest, easiest solution is just to change the plug. I've done it in a Freightliner with a missing plug, took about 10 minutes to put on the heat-shrink tubing, twist the wires, solder the wires, shrink the tubing with a heat gun. GOOD TO GO.

The part you need.

If you can't figure it out a c.b. shop or even a TA should be able to hook you up for <$100.

A temporary solution is to buy a plug that powers your c.b. from a cigarette lighter plug.

Awkward substitute.
