Hello Trucking Truthers!

This is Adam, I joined the page about 3.5yrs ago looking to cut my teeth on the trucking industry. Few years later & I am not so recently off the road from a successful stint at Swift where I ran teams with my wife on a Dedicated account hauling reefer for Target in TX,CO,NM, and OK mostly.

My wife and I recently bought a home in Lexington, KY (home of my alma mater) & have been kicking the tires as it were, looking for our next carrier.

We spent some time yesterday talking to a recruiter with TMC, but I am curious if there are any TMC Drivers out here on the forum? I would love to hear your experience with the company if so.

Personally, I was inclined to investigate TMC because I have an interest in flatbed, it seems as though they provide adequate training & run nice equipment.

I happened to catch what Brett had to say about percentage pay & I plan to bring up those points when next we speak with recruiting, very helpful insight to be sure.

Once again any information or experiential advice is welcome, hope ya'll are staying safe out there! Talk soon.

We did have a member a little awhile back. He did a year and then left to go local but he said he liked it. Type in Solo tmc and it will come up. Solo was the name he went by on here.

IMHO, Maverick may be a better fit if you're older. I got a tentative job offer from them and I'm 58. I have a solid work history, no tickets or DUI's or any other none sense, and was almost immediately denied when I applied to TMC on a few weeks ago.

I'm 41 with a clean MVR myself, 3yrs experience on Reefer.. TMC accepted me so I'm just surfing the internet comparing/contrasting driver testimonials.

Motor Vehicle Record

An MVR is a report of your driving history, as reported from your state Department of Motor Vehicles. Information on this report may include Drivers License information, point history, violations, convictions, and license status on your driving record.
