25m, got normal drivers license in 2020. Worked a few odd jobs here and there(landscaping/menial work), nothing formal and no w2.
Looked into college stuff and just never committed to applying. Cheap rent from family.
Last 2 or so years I've tried to become self employed online.Didn't make enough last year so I didn't fill out 1099k. This year it's still measly few thousand but I will probably fill out 1099 just to have it.
Ive applied to dozens entry jobs warehouse/retail but in my area there are like 200 applications for just part time jobs alone and never hear back. I came across OTR trucking and after reading extensively it seems like a perfect job for my lifestyle. Don't have many commitments other than mabye seeing family on holidays and living in a truck sound great.
Never tried any type of drug before,no criminal history, and 0 tickets.
WOAI would take to long to get into local cdl school from what I've researched.
Is it even remotely possible to get into a paid cdl school or should I give up the idea?
