I am a CDL instructor. Not long ago I called Walmart Transportation, "just asking" about a trucking job. The first thing the recruiter asked me was if I had recent OTR experience. So it never hurts to apply and get the direct info from a company.

Hello I use to drive for total transportation for about 1.5 years. I got off the road for a few years to work normal 9 to 5's but kept up my CDL minus a small relapse in my physical expiring. Everything is reinstated and good to go. Would it be hard to find a job again? Would I have to be otr or could I get local. I do feel a bit rusty on some driving so a little worried about jumping straight back into it
Any recommendations like how to freshen up on my skills. Who should I go with?
