I missed you RedGator! I am glad to hear you are busy....busy is good as it keeps a person from running the streets (and it means you are making money)! I like to hear what everyone is doing but needless to say the women truckers give a different perspective sometimes. Glad to hear you are doing well!
Glad to hear things are going well for ya! I'm sure you are a great trainer, and I'm glad they're finding some ladies for you to train. We need good trainers in this industry and especially some good lady trainers. Keep up the good work, but try and "pop in" here when ever you can.
Schweet. I'm sure these trainees fully appreciate what you have to offer. Very cool.

Enough about me. How have yall been?
I'm on my way to returning to the great open road...
Good luck with your trainees.
.....We are currently on our way back to WI for her to test and for me to snatch another one.
What kind of test is there left to do after the miles you two have completed?

Generally it's a test out to see if you go solo. Pre trip, back up, and road test. It's not graded like your dsl test, they just want to make sure you can shift and drive before giving you the keys to a 200k dollar truck.

Why, yes; I have missed you! Next week I'm scheduled for DOT physical, and then I'll get into the DMV to test for a permit. I plan to attend the Tech College in Appleton, WI in August, and WEL is a serious consideration for me, so maybe you could be my trainer! Especially if you can promise to turn me into a LEAN machine!

Its been a little while I know but Ive just been super busy with me new trainee! Guess women hybernate during the winter cause since it got warm they have been rolling them into my truck like an assembly line. In comes a frightened timid lady and out comes a lean mean driving machine. With this trainee we have been running about 4500 miles a week. Its been pretty brutal but worth it for their experience and I sure cant complain about my pay check. We are currently on our way back to WI for her to test and for me to snatch another one. I admiT I was kinda looking forward to having my own space. Im still in the 660 so sharing that with another person is crazy. My T680 should be in in The next few weeks. Im gonna miss this truck but the space in the 680 is a dream. Training hasn't been bad at all. I like helping ppl. Plus it helps that I have alot of patience with new drivers. The older ones not so much lol Im learning alot from them aa well. And so far they seem happy with my laid back methods. Enough about me. How have yall been?

Dispatcher, Fleet Manager, Driver Manager
The primary person a driver communicates with at his/her company. A dispatcher can play many roles, depending on the company's structure. Dispatchers may assign freight, file requests for home time, relay messages between the driver and management, inform customer service of any delays, change appointment times, and report information to the load planners.
