What kind of reasons did they find to send guys packin'?

I'm with you guys, I'm 5'10", but according to my wife I'm 5'7", I don't know which ones right but she's usually right so I'll say 5'7". The trailers really aren't hard to climb, it's easier than a fence because you have the rub-rail to stick your fingers into for grip. No running start needed. You'll do just fine on that.

Oh okay, so it's more of a pull up from about 5'?

I just finished training with Maverick flatbed division, I can tell you that they dont play they are very serious. They have very good training, u stay on campus they have a hotel on their property wuth vans u can use, they have a gym an a basketball goal plus a walking track, its a real nice place but you will have a roomate. You do classroom for a week they feed you the first week an give you $50 they only feed lunch your on your own for breakfast an dinner, you do hands on training the next week, that last day of hands on you find out who your trainer is. Overall the training is great but some of the reasons they send people home is petty but i understand.

Thank your man! I've really REALLY been wanting to hear something about Maverick on here! Especially their flatbed division! Any other info. u can give me?

Sleep Apnea:

A physical disorder in which you have pauses in your breathing, or take shallow breaths, during sleep. These pauses can last anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Normal breathing will usually resume, sometimes with a loud choking sound or snort.

In obstructive sleep apnea, your airways become blocked or collapse during sleep, causing the pauses and shallow breathing.

It is a chronic condition that will require ongoing management. It affects about 18 million people in the U.S.

TWIC:

Transportation Worker Identification Credential

Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.

Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.

smile.gif The school recruiter actually said that too me today, but about TMC. I don't know if she was that serious, better not take any chances though. I'm not guessing anymore about the details. Obviously Flatbed companies take the petty details seriously. After all how can they trust you to be safe if you can't read the stay off the lawn sign?
