So I heard from a recruiter from Prime Inc today and good news...... I will be starting orientation on September 15 which just happens to be my birthday. This gives me time to get my birth certificate back and test for the permit.

I am so ready for this, I can't wait!

CDL:

Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:

  • Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
  • Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
  • Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.

Congrats!!!! Years ago I hit Navy bootcamp on my birthday . Not something I recommend. But I did cross the international date line going south kn a birthday . I keep telling myself I am a year younger. Lol. Damn why couldn 't I have been born on Feb. 29.... Have fun with school. Lots of hurry up and wait in the beginning .
