I would like to know many miles are common for Teams during a month?
How long will it take to complete 240,000 miles for a team?
I drive teams with my brother. We do roughly 24k to 26k miles a month. We are both experienced drivers and we know are jobs and what is expected of us. Not knowing much and new drivers teaming together I would say closer to 20k to 22k miles a month would not be to from the truth.
So using those numbers it could take close to a year for a team truck to do 240k miles. Maybe longer for newer drivers since they aren't as efficient as more experienced drivers.

Agree with Guyjax - figure about a year.....
We team and average 22,000/ month LTL , so right at 240,000 a year with one month off.
May depend on van/reefer freight, and amount of drop and hook vs. unload.
Also consider seasonal freight volumes and inclement weather.
Refers to carriers that make a lot of smaller pickups and deliveries for multiple customers as opposed to hauling one big load of freight for one customer. This type of hauling is normally done by companies with terminals scattered throughout the country where freight is sorted before being moved on to its destination.
LTL carriers include:
A refrigerated trailer.
Drop and hook means the driver will drop one trailer and hook to another one.
In order to speed up the pickup and delivery process a driver may be instructed to drop their empty trailer and hook to one that is already loaded, or drop their loaded trailer and hook to one that is already empty. That way the driver will not have to wait for a trailer to be loaded or unloaded.
