I just did this myself... Man felt like a dumbass... Now I keep a spare in my wallet as that's always on me.

I think I will go for a magnet key case attached to the front bumper, because I could lock my wallet in the truck too. Wrap the key up in plastic to prevent moisture from getting in, and it keeps it from rattling inside.

You do know this is the first place a crook will look for a key. Wear it like a dog tag or something. . Anything but that

I drive a Volvo. You have to lock it with the key, so it is impossible to lock your keys inside

i agree, and it was TT that made me decide to go into trucking. TT gave what I felt was a balanced picture-- not a bed of roses, not a bed of nails, but certainly not what a few of the other sites had been spewing
