Captain, you are going to ace that thing. You are so over prepared you are not only going to impress yourself, but also those folks at the DMV.

Thanks Old school but no such thing as over prepared. Are the questions the same or very similar at DMV.

Very similar. If you can ace our test you'll ace theirs. They do have trick questions in there on the DMV test so make sure you read the question carefully. While you're there, take all your endorsements. You'll do great don't worry. I was in your shoes asking the same question and I destroyed all 7 of their tests the DMV clerk thought I might have cheated.

Air brakes got me too. I'm just glad DMV doesn't test on logbooks. I'm struggling with that one now, it's like who's on first.
A written or electronic record of a driver's duty status which must be maintained at all times. The driver records the amount of time spent driving, on-duty not driving, in the sleeper berth, or off duty. The enforcement of the Hours Of Service Rules (HOS) are based upon the entries put in a driver's logbook.

Though I was driving a long time before the High Road came along I used it to get my tanker, hazmat and doubles and triples endorsement. I studied til I was satisfied I knew that I could pass the test then I stopped using the actual testing material. I did not what I call "Information Burnout". From that point I used only the practice test and the self testing review questions as a way to keep the info fresh without actually having to be in "learning mode". While there is no such thing as being over prepared there is a thing as Information Burnout.
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Air brakes was an easy one for me but I spent many a year doing Virginia state inspections.

You'll be very pleased with your results. The DMV questions are similar enough that you'll recognize them.
Good Luck!

You have absolutely no reason to be nervous. You're going to be laughing with delight before you even walk out of the building after those tests.

LOL I used The High Road Training Program over and over for all the parts in need for class A combo and air brakes till I got 100% every time without looking anything up. I'm still nervous about the actual DMV test but there should be NO chance of failing it now... RIGHT GUYS?
