Don't be concerned in the least. Just get the meds upped a bit and everything will be perfect. There are tons of drivers that are on medication for blood pressure issues. As long as you have it in the acceptable range you're good to go. Just make sure your doctor knows that the medications have to be approved for commercial driving. But don't give it a second thought - no big deal.
Thanks Brett, That eases my mind. This is some thing I realy want to do and I don't want any thing getting in the way of it. If all goes well I should be starting school next weekend. I will keep posting as things progress. Thanks again. Doc

Just got word the day before yesterday that my wia funding has came through. I went today for my drug screen and dot physical. My physical went great until they got to my blood presure part of it. It was elevated pretty high. By the time I left it had came down some and they were able to sign off on the long form for 90 days. It looks like I will be making a trip to the family doctor to get my meds upped a little. Any one have any experience with this kind of thing? My class could start as soon as the 18th of this month. I don't have to have my permit or test results till the 10th week of my class but would like to get all of this resolved so I don't have to worry about it again. I will be doing 15 weeks of class on weekends so that I can still work through the week. just a little concerned about the 90 day thing.
