This may be just me, but I smack my head more often when wearing a ball cap. I think the bill of the cap blocks the upward "peripheral" vision and I just forget whatever it is and smack my head. I don't seem to have near the problem with my floppy hat or watch cap. YMMV, of course!

Whew! It's not just me. I remembered to check this thread this evening about 3 seconds after I got done cussing after hitting my head on the overhead storage thingie while getting in my rig.

Ull never get over hitting ur head get a haed hat lol i did just that bc just when ya stop hittin ur head ya get a new truck and its norm all different

I don't usually hit my head. I tend to hit my shoulders on the frame rail of the trailer.
