I applied for a company before starting my current company has been calling me lately but I haven't had a chance to let them know I went else where. However my manager called me while I was on the road yesterday and asked me if I planned on leaving to go with that company? He said he saw my name come up on something but it was strange because I hadn't talked with them. My question is if I some day decide to leave my company will know before I get a chance to put in a notice it seems like? Isn't that kind of personal?

Hey Mikki! Girl how are you? I am almost done with my trainer and will be testing to go solo some time next week. We are on our way to Wisconsin to drop one load, pick another one up, and then heading to Texas. Email or text me sometime!

Hey Dejuan, there is no telling what info about you is being made public to other companies (minus the obvious DAC report). Here`s a funny thing though: I was being hounded by companies that had refused my application from when I finished school up to a few months ago, and now, nothing. I guess they figure if I lasted a year here they have no chance... They are right. I got lucky and found my fit.

DAC:

Drive-A-Check Report

A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).

It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.

Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

Lol. Yeah its weird some companies still call me at least once a week you would think they've given up by now.

Yeah, it is actually kind of sad. They are trying to lure you in and take you away from there to them to do the exact same thing. Who would want to start at the bottom again?

Yeah I'm staying put as long as I can because the last thing I want to go through again is going out with a trainer.
