According to the Buckeye Police Department, a missing 15-year-old girl was last spotted at an Arizona truck stop on December 27th.
Police say the girl, Leah Costa, 15, and her boyfriend ran away on December 24, 2014.
On December 27, 2014, Arizona Department of Public Safety officers found Costa’s 17-year-old boyfriend walking along Interstate 10 near mile marker 78. Police say the 17 year old was “disoriented and dehydrated” and had torn clothing.
He allegedly told officers that he didn’t know where he had been or where Leah was. He confirmed with officers that he and Leah had previously been spotted at the TA truck stop at 339th Avenue and Interstate 10 and at the Burnt Wells Rest Area on Interstate 10 at mile maker 86.
Leah is described as 5’3″ tall, weighing 187 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and white checkered plaid shirt with a black tank top, jeans and black tennis shoes. She wears dark-colored glasses. Her boyfriend told authorities she may be wearing a red plaid shirt.
