So I got my confirmation today. I'll be leaving this coming weekend and starting orientation next Mon, March 4th. I plan on making it through this phase and being with a trainer later in March.

I was wondering what the policy is on inverters to charge cell phones while in the truck. Should I bring my own inverter or will there be an outlet to charge an electronic device?

It would seem like different companies have different policies. Some allow inverters, some don't. But one thing ALL trucks have is a 12v outlet. Buy a plug in charger and no matter which truck you're in, you will have power..smile.gif

Yap, I agree. You don't want to bring too much when you're getting ready to go on the road with your trainer. Basically, about two average size duffel bags is the limit. There isn't much room and the trainer will have a lot of stuff. But obviously a 12 volt charger is small so that's no concern. For larger devices like laptops that need a 110 volt outlet, the trainer will hopefully have one in his truck. Worst case scenario is he doesn't and you can buy one at the first truck stop you come to because they pretty much all sell those.
