I've got Passenger, Tanker, Doubles/Triples & HazMat. Shows up as PTX endorsed on my CDL.
Yours would probably be just "X" - without doubles/triples & passenger (the P & T endorsements on mine).
I'd go get your TWIC card also - the BG check will be less expensive with a recent HM BG check, and it's always good to have.

A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
Explosive, flammable, poisonous or otherwise potentially dangerous cargo. Large amounts of especially hazardous cargo are required to be placarded under HAZMAT regulations
Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.
Truck drivers who regularly pick up from or deliver to the shipping ports will often be required to carry a TWIC card.
Your TWIC is a tamper-resistant biometric card which acts as both your identification in secure areas, as well as an indicator of you having passed the necessary security clearance. TWIC cards are valid for five years. The issuance of TWIC cards is overseen by the Transportation Security Administration and the Department of Homeland Security.
Tanker and hazmat is combined so you'll get an X to cover both.

Hi guys, I just took my permit test today with all endorsements. I have to get fingerprinted of course yet for the HazMat. If I passed the Tanker endorsement and the HazMat , will I just get the X or H and T ? Im not sure I understand the X? I've rescanned the CDL booklet and I can't find the answer. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
