I just spoke with a recruiter friend of mine for you and they said that you must be 21 years of age on the day that you start training. Hope that this helps, but you may find different answers by calling around and talking to different companies. Each has their own policies.

You are more than welcome. Get the CDL manual from your state and study it as well as the one here on the site. Between the two of them, you will be a lot less stressed in class.
Thanks for the warm wishes, and best miles to you as well!

So I know you have to be 21 to have the cdl to cross state lines. I will be 21 on March 26th. My question is:
Is there a school that will take me in and let me do the classes and get my cdl once my birthday comes?
In order to do the training with a mentor do I have to have my cdl then? I'm guessing yes.
But could I go ahead and do all the classes and graduate on my birthday?
