Secondhand Smoke

I have a hair test coming up in a month and unfortunately I have been around a couple people who smoke pot im just wandering if that will cause me to fail the hair follicle. I wasn't around it much and I stayed away from the smoke but my neighbor smokes and I was helping him move some stuff but I have a very good metabolism and I work out all the time I am 6'0" 195 lbs and I drink water all the time and I eat healthy. Should the secondhand be a problem? I myself can honestly say I have never smoked weed.

Did you inhale enough to get a contact high? If not, then you probably have nothing to worry about.

No I stayed away from it! Now I'm staying away from all the people that do it

Another reason why i'm getting into this industry is so I can get away from the people who drag me down and things like that, I was going to school to be an Anesthesiologist but I was talked out of it by many docs

He is right, find somewhere else to be when they light up. Truth is those hair test are pretty accurate some can be up to two years out even though they usually are looking six months back. Not to sound like a jerk but I hope they give me one, even if it goes two years back. See I only have one misdemeanor charge I was convicted of back in 2009. It started off a class B charge of 2OZ and ended up lesser charge paraphernalia class C. My girlfriend who I lived with got drunk and called the cops on us and she came to the door only wearing panties. He was invited in and found a big fat roach siting in an ashtray. No I did not hit her, but I did move out of the way when she came to shove me again knowing she would collide with the refrigerator. I dont smoke that crap for many reasons now days like the dementia it can lead to not to mention the blood thirsty terrorist that supply the crap. Live and learn. I only have family I talk to ,even on my Facebook , no friends, girlfriends or anyone else I can enable to screw me up. When that crap gets lit I am nowhere in site of it.

According to testing authorities, hair follicle tests do not pick up second hand smoke. The amount of trace inhalants by second hand smoke is not enough to trigger a positive test. The subject has to directly inhale a certain quantity, repeatedly, in order to have the amount of THC that needs to be metabolized by the body to show up on the test. Consequently, anybody that shows a positive result cannot blame it on second hand smoke.
