Hey all. Long time no post. Figured I would post earnings from last year as I said I would. Most know what I do but for those that don't I run teams with my brother for Werner. His W2 is identical to mine. This shows taxable income. Does not include my 401K. Year to date with 401k was over 62k.

This posting is for those that are thinking of teaming at a company and wondering what can be made driving teams. While its pretty good for one person its even better for a husband and wife team.

Nice to hear from you GuyJax!

Are you guys still pulling a lot of doubles?

Doubles:

Refers to pulling two trailers at the same time, otherwise known as "pups" or "pup trailers" because they're only about 28 feet long. However there are some states that allow doubles that are each 48 feet in length.

Only during the warmer months. ABF freight falls off during the winter months. Should be starting up again anytime. I can't wait. Much rather haul doubles than 53 foot trailers.

Is the pay more, for doubles?

In a way. We are guarantee a minimum of 5500 miles per week whether we drive it or not. normally we do 6500 to 6800 per week which we get paid for but if we don't do that we still get a guarantee 5500 miles worth of pay.

It's very in this industry to get this type of pay.
