OOS:
When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Like the guys said, you'll do just fine. Everyone is nervous as can be before taking their CDL exam. But you'll get through it just fine. And it's not like you only get a chance or two. You can keep testing until you pass. So don't sweat it. Just try to relax and do your thing.
CDL:
Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
A CDL is required to drive any of the following vehicles:
- Any combination of vehicles with a gross combined weight rating (GCWR) of 26,001 or more pounds, providing the gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of the vehicle being towed is in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any single vehicle with a GVWR of 26,001 or more pounds, or any such vehicle towing another not in excess of 10,000 pounds.
- Any vehicle, regardless of size, designed to transport 16 or more persons, including the driver.
- Any vehicle required by federal regulations to be placarded while transporting hazardous materials.
I Flipping passed! Missed one on pre trip, scored 6 on backing, and only hit 9 on driving.

Definitely worth a small celebration ... congratulations ... you'll have a bunch more small victories as you go along and at some point you'll think, "Maybe I CAN do this ..."

I made the decision to enter the trucking world. I did my research and a lot of soul searching and decided to go with Roehl Transport. The guys at Roehl have been very good to me. I grew up as a truckers kid and there was nothing like going with dad in the summer. At heart I always knew I would become a trucker. I worked construction and landscaping since I graduated high school and put it off telling myself a life over the road wasn't for me...I was lying to myself. So my wife and I discussed it for probably the twentieth time in 10 years and she was finally supportive. I told my dad what I'm doing and he responded with a laugh and said "I wondered how long it would take for you to do that". So I have been in school for 2.5 weeks now and the instructors have said I'm ready, I feel ready but I'm nervous as a kid before Christmas. I have studied hard and practiced hard. The High Road helped immensely, so has a lot of other posts on here. I discovered trucking truth while doing my initial research right after I received approval from my lovely wife. I have been reading on here every day for months now and for some reason have just now decided to post. Probably because I'm so tired after class it's all I can do to cook dinner in my hotel. I have all the knowledge and skills needed to pass. The instructors at Fox valley tech have been really great and informative. But I can't help being nervous. I'm more nervous than getting my dl. when I was 16. I know I will do well though I have gained knowledge and comfort from the posts on here. So thanks for all y'all's help.
