Most trucks have two 100 gallon tanks and on the worst interstate (mountains) you average 6.2 mpg I always just average 6 miles to the gallon just to be safe but you can average better on really good and flat roads and depends on your speed...

Back from home time, the truck was shut off for 4-5 days, so Qualcomm performance page was all zero. then I picked up a dry load with 45k net, 78,900 gross. By the time I shut down, I reviewed performance, the MPG was 7.9! I used to get 8.5 when I deadheaded to location with my empty trailer attached tho. XDD
Deadhead:
To drive with an empty trailer. After delivering your load you will deadhead to a shipper to pick up your next load.
