Sure, as long as its the truth they have no way to discredit you. It would go over better if you had paycheck stubs.
Thanks for replying Lawrence. Oh yes sir its the truth, but my grandfather never paid me with checks, it was all cash.
I used to drive a Mack log truck for my grandfather's logging company. But can I use that on job applications when they ask about my experience in trucking since its been a long time since then???
Sure you can list it. Can't hurt. BUT trucking companies don't count it as experience unless you are crossing state lines.
Intra - state (not leaving a state). Inter-state (leaving state).
Intra +state does not count as valid experience due to insurance companies guidelines.
Oh ok then, I understand!!!! Thanks A lot for responding Guyjax its always good to hear from the Veterans!!!!! Again man Thanks!!!

Now also consider listing it cause, while its not considered true experience in the eyes of a insurance company, the applications are still decided apon by human beings. It might be the one detail that can catch someone's eye and move you a bit close to the positive side.
I sure will Sir!!!.... Guyjax I can't tell you how Appreciative I am for your positive and honest feedback!!! You'll be the first to know how this turns out for me, because you just gave me Tons of hope that wasn't there earlier!!!!!!,,,,,Thanks Again Guyjax,,,,,,,
Just remember not to get disappointed if you still need to go through a training process. In order for trucking companies to get large insurance discounts they have to abide by the hiring practices that the insurance companies set up for them.
Truly in trucking it's not personal. It's just business.
The Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) is a person who evaluates employees who have violated a DOT drug and alcohol program regulation and makes recommendations concerning education, treatment, follow-up testing, and aftercare.
I totally understand Sir and i have no problem with training , ill do whatever is asked!!! I can't do anything but respect the business side, I actually embrace it!!!!! Hey Guyjax you're real and honest and I have no words that would tell you how much it means to me for you to take time out of your busy day to lead me in the right direction!!!! You keep doing what you've been doing because this site need your expertise!!!! Stay Safe My Friend
