It sure is! Very few people realize that New York State is about 90% mountainous wilderness and is full of lakes, rivers, and creeks from one end to the other. Here's a picture of the Letchworth State Park river gorge about 25 minutes from my house. I go there all the time. It's called "The Grand Canyon Of The East" and was just voted the #1 state park in the country. Most people would never guess New York is as beautiful as it is.
That's a beautiful pic. Attica...I thought you were near Ithaca. Either way, upstate is gorgeous. Hard to believe that NYC is in the same state. Like a different world.
I remember on my first trip to upstate NY I was surprised by all the vineyards there.
I'm dispatched to North Collins for a Friday delivery this week.

Grew up through high school in Schenectady. Remember lake George, Sagandaga lake, SPAC and hiking the Adirondacks.
Great area to grow up!
A truck drivers DAC report will contain detailed information about their job history of the last 10 years as a CDL driver (as required by the DOT).
It may also contain your criminal history, drug test results, DOT infractions and accident history. The program is strictly voluntary from a company standpoint, but most of the medium-to-large carriers will participate.
Most trucking companies use DAC reports as part of their hiring and background check process. It is extremely important that drivers verify that the information contained in it is correct, and have it fixed if it's not.

was in your neck of the woods the other day Brett, or at least passing by on 81 on my way to our terminal in Syracuse. Beautiful country, upstate NY.
Terminal:
A facility where trucking companies operate out of, or their "home base" if you will. A lot of major companies have multiple terminals around the country which usually consist of the main office building, a drop lot for trailers, and sometimes a repair shop and wash facilities.
