How does going to a cdl school in another state work? I'm in Mississippi now and in order to go to school here I have to have a MS license. I currently have a Class B from Colorado. So what if I wanted to go to Prime's school? Would I have to get a Missouri license?
The way the Prime school works is that when you pass your exam, you will be given temporary residence in MO so that you can get your license. Then you have 30 or 60 days to transfer your license back to MS (can't remember the correct time frame). At least that is how it worked when I got my license and I live in VA.

I live in Missouri and I think Ernie is right. You'll have do some transferring. I was living in Iowa for awhile and my Missouri license expired while I was a resident there. So I currently have an Iowa license and am considering a company in Iowa (unrelated reasons). Anywho, if I decide to reside in Missouri after my training in complete, I will be required to transfer.
