I'm not sure what you'll need for a Class B to tell you the truth. But I'd love to know why you only want to get a class B when for a couple more weeks of schooling and a little more money you can get a Class A and have the entire world of trucks to choose from? We always recommend that people get their Class A.

OOS:

When a violation by either a driver or company is confirmed, an out-of-service order removes either the driver or the vehicle from the roadway until the violation is corrected.

Oh I see. Yeah to be honest I'm not sure what the requirements are. You'll have to ask your nearest driving bureau which tests you'll need to take.

It is still much better to go ahead and get the class A, just because if later on in life you get another job, it might come in handy. When I was in school I saw couple of students with a class B going through he whole course to get the class A again..

Johnathan, do that you are looking to do (Class B), but I think what others are hinting at is one day you really want to hear your boss say "You can drive a semi??!!"

Do yourself a favor and go the extra 1/4 mile and get the class A. I had a class B and it was almost useless except for dump trucks and concrete. I agree with Brett. At a minimum, in this economy, it makes a great fallback, if nothing else.

I did it as a backup plan and found out I love yankin tanks.
