I always loved running so I would go running at least 3-5 times a week wherever and whenever I could. And man did I love it! The scenery was so incredible and you were always in a different place every day. It was great.
I also carried 60 pound dumbbells with me for a little weight lifting.
There are plenty of opportunities to exercise if you want to. It's more effort on the road because you never know where you'll be or what your schedule will look like. And of course you'll want to be at a truckstop if you're running so you can hop in the shower afterward. So it takes some doing, but if you're into exercising it certainly isn't anything you can't find a way to do.
