Hey all. Soon, I will make my Final decision as to whether I apply for company sponsored training, or private school.

In the meantime, I want to make sure that any of my application that I do fill out are as accurate as possible. I had a small misdemeanor charge about 20 years ago. I don't remember the exact time, I don't even remember the exact year. I want to make sure that everything is accurate. I also would like to verify if there isn't anything else on there that doesn't belong.

Do any of you have any experience with running your own background check before you applied? I'm wondering what the best service to use is, or the best way to do this might be. Are there services that trucking companies typically use? If so, I'd love to use the same thing.

Hey all. Just joined. I've been lurking for a while reading up and studying, preparing for a new career!

I was wondering if anybody has any experience with CDS trucking school in Auburn, WA. I think they sound like the best in my area. I am leaning towards private school rather that company sponsored, because I would like to open up as many options to stay local (not more than one or two nights away a week) as soon as possible. Any thoughts?
