Central Community College uses U.S. Department of Transportation guidelines for training and licensing truck drivers. Program graduates will receive 12 college credits, awarded a professional truck driver training certificate, and complete all tests for to obtain a CDL.
It includes 240 hours of combined instruction and driving time with a minimum of 50 of these hours being hands-on driving time on the school range, city streets, highways and interstate.
