Hibbing Community College offers truck driver training and certification that includes classroom education, behind the wheel training, additional classes for commercial trucking, and general education classes related to the trucking industry. Students will gain an understanding of rules and regulations of the Federal Motor Carrier Administration.
Approximate tuition is $2,680 for in-state students, or $3,678 for out-of-state, plus $595 for books and supplies. Costs vary depending on time spent completing the program. There are a variety of financial aid options, such as student loans through FAFSA, student employment, a variety of scholarships, and federal grants (Pell Grant, Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant, Minnesota State Grant, and Post-Secondary Child Care Grant).

Prospective students may apply online. You must be declared eligible by the college to drive a state vehicle, and pass a drug test prior to enrollment.
