Beginner and refresher courses

Kilgore College trains individuals who are new to the field of commercial driving and also can enhance and reinforce skills for more experienced drivers. Courses are offered at a variety of times, including day, evening and weekend programs. The CDL Class A training course is designed for individuals who have no prior experience in driving a commercial vehicle. It is a 5-week program with 200 coursework hours, at a cost of $4,250. Register for enrollment via a one-page form on the website.

Flexible payment plans and easy registration

For tuition assistance, the program is approved for Workforce Investment Act and Veteran benefits, and the school offers a “College Green Payment Plan,” which allows students the flexibility to choose payment dates and the frequency of online payments.

The school also uniquely offers students short-term counseling for mental health support.
