Wynne Unit within the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, and is located on FM 2821 West & Hwy. 75 in Huntsville, Texas. The program boasts a 94 percent completion rate on CDL certification and challenges students with strict training standards based on Texas DPS. The emphasis is on tractor-trailer driving fundamentals, with industry based curriculum requirements. There is extensive training with state of the art equipment, so graduates meet high industry standards and ethics.
Offenders must satisfy strict screening requirements for admission into the 22 semester credit hour program and the opportunity to complete a CDL examination.
