NETTTS Tractor Trailer Training School

NETTTS Tractor Trailer Training School was established in 1965 and now trains drivers in both Massachusetts and Connecticut. With over 50 years of experience, NETTTS has been an important part of the Somers community by providing the greater Hartford and Springfield residents with Class A and B Commercial Driver's License training.

What Programs Does NETTTS Offer?

• Class A CDL Training - Teaches the basics of CDL trucking and prepares you to get your CDL Learner's Permit. During this training time you learn about vehicle maintenance, different components like air brakes and transmissions, Federal and State regulations and safe driving techniques. This course then continues with hands-on and behind the wheel training covering backing, docking, air brakes and more; and followed with road skills where students drive side by side with their instructors learning how to drive in normal road conditions. NETTTS will also act as your road sponsor for your CDL test.
• Class B CDL Training - At NETTTS we have Class B Commercial Driver's License training. Class B is the second heaviest weight class of commercial vehicles. Drivers in construction, shipping, and public transit (buses) are often Class B drivers. At NETTTS you can take Commercial Heavy Straight Truck Training (CDLB 80) and Passenger Endorsement (P) training.

Tuition And Financing

Financial Aid is available for students that qualify. Some of the options are payment plans or applying for loans and grants such as:

• Agency & private funding

Program For Military Veterans

NETTTS has been designated a Military Friendly School by Victory Media, a veteran-owned organization that aims to connect military personnel in transition with education, business and career opportunities.

Career Placement Services

NETTTS offers Job Placement Assistance by providing full-time Career Services Advisors who are dedicated to working with graduates and matching them with prospective employers.

NETTTS want students to be job ready, they help students develop and improve their job seeking skills such as how to find and evaluate a potential employer, what to wear to a job interview, when to follow up after an interview, and job expectations.
